Netlify
Netlify is a proprietary serverless website host, popular in the jamstack/indieweb community. As of March 2022, it is the fastest host for static sites, compared to Cloudflare and vercel
This is why I use it for my website, despite it’s proprietary nature. I don’t depend on netlify exclusive features, so there is no harm.
It is mostly an abstraction+reseller of AWS. It’s functions are indestinquishable from Amazon’s lambda functions. (It is much cheaper than buying hosting at many locations from AWS - netlify buys in bulk!)
